Florence Neiman,98, of Livingston, NJ, died on Friday June 7 at home. She was born on April 1, 1921 in the Bronx, New York and lived in Wayne, NJ for 37 years before moving to Livingston to be closer to her family.
Florence worked on her family’s Chicken Farm in Totowa, NJ and then as a Sales Associate at JM Town. Once retired, she volunteered at St. Barnabas Medical Center. Florence was devoted to her family, loved knitting everyone she met blankets, cooking family holiday dinners and was an avid mahjong player. She will be greatly missed.
Florence is survived by her daughter Deborah, Son-in-law, Laurence, Granddaughters Erin and Heather, and their husbands Michael and Ryan and three great grandsons, Jack, Zachary and Sean. She was predeceased by her husband, Herbert of 32 years, sisters Hannah Goldstein and Esther Herring and brother Bernard Gold.
