Robert Floyd LeVine, 89, of Boca Raton, Florida died on March 8, 2019. He was born in Paterson, N.J. and lived in Short Hills, NJ for many years. He attended Blair Academy, Penn State University and got a masters degree from New York University.
He established and owned a successful retail and wholesale shoe companies. He was an adjunct professor at Farleigh Dickinson University, where he enjoyed sharing his experience with the students. After retiring, he fulfilled his ambition of living full time in Florida.
He was a life-long aficionado of Jazz. He played the bass fiddle in several bands in New Jersey and Florida, and served as the librarian for many rehearsal bands in Florida. He is survived by the loves of his life, his wife Brenda, son Richard and his wife Stacey, daughter Jaime and her husband Bruce as well as his grandchildren Benjamin, Olivia and Casey. He is also survived by two brothers, Howard LeVine and Walter LeVine.
Funeral services will be held at Robert Schoem's Menorah Chapel (Paramus, NJ) on Wednesday, March 13th, 2019 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at the Congregation B'nai Israel Cemetery (Saddle Brook, NJ).
