Stanley Blank, 89, formerly of Paramus, passed away peacefully at his home in Boynton Beach Florida after a long and valiant battle with Parkinson's disease. He lived with strength and courage and passed with grace on May 20th, 2016.
Stanley was born in Bronx, NY on October 11, 1926 to Jacob and Rose. He was a graduate of The Bronx High School of Science and The City College of New York. He served in the United States Army from 1944 – 1946. On September 5, 1948 he married Rosalie Katz. Stanley had a long and rewarding career as the Senior Vice President of Production with Parade Publications until his retirement at the age of 65. His greatest joys were traveling the world, playing golf, attending horse races and most of all, spending time with his family and friends.
Stanley is survived by his sister Anita Galanter and his brother in law Jerome; his daughter Caryn, son in law Jim and their children Alexandra and Victoria; his son Joel, daughter in law Staci and their children Katie and Max. He will be missed deeply by his family, friends and longtime companion and loving caregiver Joyce Pessoa.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother David and his beloved wife of 55 years Rosalie.
A service will be held at The Sanctuary of Abraham and Sarah on 10:45 AM, Monday, May 23, 2016, followed by the gathering of his family and friends at the home of Joel and Staci Blank.
