Henry. Born on October 11, 1914, passed away on the morning of November 13, 2016 at the age of 102. He lived a full and wonderful life which ended peacefully with his loved ones and caregivers nearby. He was a blessing and a gift to everyone who had the good fortune to know him. He came to the United States with his family through Ellis Island at the age of 6. He was a butcher, and a salesman, and a friend to all. He was the last survivor of seven siblings. He loved and cared for his family deeply.
His commitment to his friends and family cannot be measured. He loved, and for the last 3 years greatly missed, Sydelle, his wife of 62 years and the love of his life, who predeceased him. He is sur-vived by his daughter Marcia Geller (Liebman) and her hus-band Jerry of Fair Lawn, and his son Stuart Liebman and his wife Arlene of Fair Lawn. He loved Jerry and Arlene as his own children. He is also sur-vived by his grandchildren Doug Geller and his wife Jessi-ca, Scott Geller and his wife Hannah, Matthew Liebman and his wife Nicole, Joel Liebman and his wife Caitlin, and Andrew Liebman. He is also survived by his great-granddaughter Addison Geller. He was blessed to share a boundless and mutual love with his children, grandchil-dren, great-granddaughter, and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will take place on Tuesday November 15th, at 11:00 AM at Robert Schoem's Menorah Chapel in Paramus. Donations in Henry's memory can be made to Temple Beth Sholom of Fair Lawn, and to Valley Hospice of Valley Hospital.
