Jacob Edelstein, age 84, passed away on April 8th, 2017. Jacob and his brother Stanley started Edelstein Office Furniture out of a garage in 1955 and built it into a successful and respected business until it closed in 2006. He was a Veteran of the Korean War.
Jacob's legacy as 1st baseman for the Brooklyn Dodgers in the 1950's will be remembered by many. Although not a professional, he loved to sing as much as he loved baseball. He is survived by his wife of 37 years Judith, children Amy (Matt), Alan, Larry (Barbara), Step-son Noah and grandson Cody Benjamin.

Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, April 12th at Robert Schoem's Menorah Chapel (Paramus, NJ). Burial service will follow at Congregation B'nai Israel Cemetery (Saddle Brook, NJ).
