Marsha Sondra Blecher, age 73, of Paramus and formerly of the Bronx, passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2017. Marsha was predeceased by her parents Henry and Rive. Marsha is survived by Stanley, her husband of 50 fifty years, her sons, Howard of San Francisco and Neil (wife Suzanne and their children Nathan and Sloane) of Hoboken and her brother-in-Law Barry Blecher of Park Ridge.
Marsha was a lifelong educator, having taught at William Howard Taft High School in the Bronx, Lewis F. Cole Middle School in Fort Lee, Bergen Community College and mentored teachers at William Paterson University. Her appreciation for learning started at The Bronx High School of Science, continued at Syracuse University where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree and at Columbia University where she earned a Master’s Degree in Teaching. Later in life, Marsha satisfied her interest in law by earning an Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies from Bergen Community College. Marsha and Stanley satisfied their passion for travel with river and ocean cruises and tours of the United States by automobile.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at 12:30 p.m. at Robert Schoem's Menorah Chapel, W-150 State Route 4, Paramus, New Jersey with internment to follow at Cedar Park Cemetery, 735 Forest Avenue, Paramus, New Jersey.
