Madlyn Fergang, nee Weigner, 81 of Mahwah, formerly of Monroe Township and Paramus, NJ died Thursday, December 7, 2017. Born in the Bronx, she lived in Teaneck and Paramus before moving to Monroe Township.
Madlyn was the youngest of four children. In 1965, she created the Jumpstart program which was the original pre-school in Teaneck, NJ. She then went on to manage three offices of Placemart Personnel in Hackensack, NJ. Upon retiring, she became the state recruiter for AARP NJ and was honored in 2011 by being named the AARP Person of the year.
Madlyn is predeceased by her beloved husband Larry. She is survived by her devoted children: Michael (Claudia) of Treasure Island, FL, Brian (Leslie) of Weston, FL, and Scott (Cantor Barbra Lieberstein) of Ramsey, NJ. She is also survived by her grandchildren Nicole, Carly, Hannah, Luke, Sara, Joshua, Jordana, and a great-grandchild, Jordan.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at Cedar Park Mausoleum 735 Forest Avenue, Paramus, New Jersey. Funeral arrangements by Robert Schoem's, Paramus.
