Phyllis Braff, 84, of Fair Lawn, formerly (and proudly) of Brooklyn, NY, passed away peacefully Friday afternoon with her family by her side.
Phyllis is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Milton; her daughter Sari and her husband John; son Mark and his wife Laura; grandchildren Emma, Gregg and spouse Kelly, and Jason and spouse Colleen; and great-granddaughter Charlotte Mae (named after Phyllis' mother, Mae Seigel).
In addition to her mother Mae, Phyllis was predeceased by her father, Nathan, and brother Howard.
Phyllis worked for many years beside her husband as bookkeeper for the company he founded, Prismacolor Ink & Varnish. She also was an active member of Glen Rock Jewish Center, where she served as vice president, edited the bulletin, helped stage fundraiser shows and much more.
Phyllis was known for her love of reading, the theater, movies and, of course, shopping. With Phyllis' passing, "Jeopardy" has lost its most loyal viewer and Bloomingdale's its #1 customer.
But most of all, she loved her family and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, 10am at Robert Schoem's Menorah Chapel, 150 Route 4 East, Paramus with internment to follow at Cedar Park Cemetery, 735 Forest Avenue Paramus.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
