Carolyn Goldstone Schiff passed away at the grand age of 98 on May 11, 2018. She had two wonderful marriages to husbands who predeceased her, Herman Goldstone and Morris Schiff. She is survived by her children and stepchildren Philip Goldstone (Heidi), Sandra Rosenberg (Jay), David Schiff (Devora), and Carol Hakala (Bill); by her many beloved grandchildren, Lori, Erica, Ezra, Samuel, Joseph, Brett, and Chad; by six wonderful great-grandchildren; and by nephew Jeffrey Layne and niece Beth Layne and their families.
Born in Brooklyn in 1920, she was a successful executive secretary before retirement, but was always there for all of her family and got the greatest joy from being with them. She most recently resided in Chestnut Ridge, NY after many years living in Monroe Township, NJ.
A memorial service will be held at Robert Schoem's Menorah Chapel on Friday, May 18, at 11 am. Donations may be made to Visiting Nurse Association of Englewood, The American Heart Association, Cycle for Survival, or the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
