Karen Goldman Diamond passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by family, on Friday. She was 63. As her family described her, Karen was a force to be reckoned with - a magnetic personality and a smile that didn't just light up the room, but brought with it a sense of palpable warmth - as if just that smile somehow made everything okay. Simply, Karen was sunshine. A woman stunning beyond words, her outer beauty was matched only by that of her inner beauty. While Karen lived a life full of happiness, her greatest joy was - undoubtedly - being a mother. And as her daughter Emma describes her, Karen was fabulosity personified - elegant and graceful to her core. Prior to motherhood, Karen was a powerful sales executive in the Healthcare industry, where her diligence and work ethic drove her success. Perhaps Karen's most memorable quality was her generosity; leading her life with love, compassion, and dignity. She was described as having a certain Karen Diamond charm that could never be duplicated. Karen was not the type of person whose presence is fleeting - she is simply unforgettable, and will live on in those whose lives she touched forever. She is survived by her husband Steve, daughter Emma, sisters Arlene & Diane and brothers Marc & Steven. Funeral will be held at Robert Schoem's Menorah Chapel, 150 NJ-4, Paramus on Sunday, 8/12 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Beth-El Cemetery in Paramus. The family is asking that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to The Village School or the charity of your choice.
