Adored wife, mother, and grandmother
Carol Isaacs, 82, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on September 12, 2018. A graveside service will be held at Cedar Park Cemetery, 735 Forest Avenue, Paramus NJ, today, Thursday September 13th, 2018 at 2:00 pm. Carol was born in New York and grew up in the Bronx. She attended the Bronx High School of science, then went on to receive a teaching certificate from City College of New York and taught public elementary school for 10 years. In 1962 she was granted the degree of Master of Science in education. She then retired from teaching before marrying and moving to Hillside New Jersey where she lived for over 40 years. She stayed home to raise her two children, then went back to work in marketing. For the past 4 years she has been living in Whitehouse Station where she was able to be close to her family. Carol was devoted and happily married to her husband for 50 years until he passed only 5 weeks ago. Carol is survived by her daughter Susan and husband Steve, and her son Larry and wife Solange. Also, her beloved granddaughters Rachel, Amanda and Melissa. In lieu of flower, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research hospital, stjude.org or Stein Hospice, Wilfcampus.org.
