Gloria Ann Jones, 80, of Paramus, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on January 17, 2019.
Gloria was born to parents Louis and Rebecca Greenspan on April 23, 1938, in New York City.
Gloria worked as a fine-jewelry sales associate at Saks 5th Avenue for more than 35 years.
She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and loved traveling, gardening, cooking, baking, music, and arts and crafts. Earlier in her life, she played softball and tennis, and loved time at the beach and pool. She was a lifelong member and former vice president of B'nai Brith Women of Paramus. She loved spending summers at White Meadow Lake with friends and family. She adored her children and grandchildren. She felt very lucky to have so many wonderful friends, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Gloria met her late husband Arnold in 1977. They were married for 35 years.
Gloria is survived by three children: Laurie Nagler (Barry) of Naples, FL, Phil Jones (Luchelle) of Paramus, NJ, and Randi Alexander (Alan) of Lawrenceville, NJ. She is also survived by five grandchildren: Daniel Nagler (Julia) of Brooklyn, NY, Alyssa Eisenman (Matt) of Parker, CO, Brad Alexander (Aly) of New York City, Lauren Alexander of New York City, and Aaron Jones (Chloe) of Bloomfield, NJ.
She was preceded in death by her husband Arnold Jones in 2016, her parents Louis Greenspan in 1984 and Rebecca Greenspan in 1990, and her brother Howard Greenspan in 2016.
There will be a funeral service on Monday January 21, 2019 at 1:00PM at Robert Schoem's Chapel, W-150 Route 4 east, Paramus, NJ (Between Paramus Road and Route 17) 201-843-9090. Interment will immediately follow at Cedar Park – Beth El Cemetery, 735 Forest Ave. in Paramus, NJ.
