Jennifer Alfert, 50, of Boca Raton, Florida, passed away on May 17, 2021. Predeceased by her father, Donald, she is survived by her mother, Joan, sisters Robin Levine (Peter), Jill Levin (Seth), nieces Jaclyn and Jessica and nephews, Zachary and Jacob.
Born and raised in New York, Jennifer was a graduate of University of Massachusetts at Amherst and then went on to get her Masters Degree in addiction counseling which has been her profession for the past several years. Jennifer was devoted to her patients and their families and worked tirelessly on their behalf, making herself always available to them.
Jennifer leaves behind a circle of friends who date back to kindergarten all the way through to her current life. Her charisma, beauty and love of life were infectious and people were naturally drawn to her.
But above all, our Jenna was a family girl. Always making time to be with her family for every occasion and milestone-- frequently flying up to New York for a day or even just a few hours-- her absence will leave a gaping hole. In particular her devotion and love for her nieces and nephews was steadfast, strong and beautiful.
She had special individual relationships with all of them that will always be treasured. Jennifer will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
A private funeral will be held on Friday, May 21 at Cedar Park Cemetery in Paramus, NJ.
