Melvin Sherman Karpoff, 87, of Lake Worth, Florida passed away peacefully on July 23, 2018.
Melvin Karpoff is survived by his wife, Ina, his children Julie Leibowitz and Howard Karpoff, their respective spouses Kevin and Diane and grandchildren, Brad & Marlene Manche, Debra Manche, Zack Karpoff, Madison Karpoff, Jordan Karpoff, and Samantha Leibowitz.
Melvin was born on April 27, 1931 in the Bronx to Dora Chodosh and Jacob Karpoff. He graduated from DeWitt Clinton High School and went on to get an associate's degree from New York Community College. Melvin was a Marine who proudly served his country in the Korean War. He then worked in the food industry for over 40 years.
He married Ina Julius on June 18, 1959. Melvin was an avid reader and accomplished bridge player.
